So here goes, my first post (please be kind!).

You might say I am getting my start in the blogging world because my husband is tired of being the only one listening to  my ranting and raving on various subjects.  It was his suggestion that I join Twitter awhile back in order to have a place to voice my opinions and let off some steam and this just seems to be a natural progression.  I have discovered some great women bloggers through twitter and decided that I wanted to join the party.

There won’t necessarily be a theme to this blog but I did want to have a place to capture my thoughts and feelings about life with kids (I have 2) and being a stay at home mom, which can sometimes be a very lonely thing to be. Having been out of the work force for over 6 years, I am also hoping this blog will help to get the creative juices flowing again, and help remind myself that there is more to me then just being a wife and mother.
