Atlantic Hearts

My good friend Hayley is on the Design Team at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, so I thought I would show my support, and play along with this week’s challenge.

The challenge:

P1140503

This was such a fun sketch to play along with. And as you can see, I once again went with a floral theme – seems to be my go-to these days!

I went with the floral image from the Morning Meadow stamp set and kept my colour palette soft and subtle.

Thanks for taking a look!

Here’s what I used:

Card Stock/DSP: Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding, Wisteria Wonder, Pink Pirouette, Baked Brown Sugar, Subtles DSP Stack

Ink: Baked Brown Sugar, Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder

Stamp Sets: Simply Sketched, Morning Meadow

Tools & Embellishments: Big Shot, Little Leaves Sizzlits, Adorning Accents Edgelits, Pansy Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, 3/16″ Corner Punch, Pearl Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals

  3. This is lovely. Like everyone else, I think the appeal is the lovely soft pastel colors you have used and those gorgeous flowers. Great work. Thanks for joining us at AHSC.

  4. Lovely card! You have a great eye for colour combining. Mixing the centres and petals of your flowers ties them together so well. Love the edgy chevron strip juxtaposed with your soft flowers. Thanks for joining the Atlantic Hearts challenge this week–hope to see you back!
