Red and White for Stampin’ Celebration!

Happy Monday everyone and Happy 4th of July to all our American friends!

We are back with another inspiration challenge at Stampin’ Celebration!

SCIpix-028My card:

DSCN1595I loved all of our inspiration photos this week, so it was hard to decide which way to go with my card.  Since I am also a cake decorated, I tried to recreate that gorgeous wedding cake, with paper.  Pretty happy with the result!

Our challenge is open until Friday, July 15th, at 9pm EST, so there’s plenty of time to play along.

Please head on over to the Stampin’ Celebration blog and check out what my fellow DT members have created. I know you are going to love all of their creations!

And as with any challenge, there are a few rules to keep in mind:

  • Feel free to use any brand of product you may have in your Stash.
  • We ask that you create a new project for this challenge and add a link to our blog or use the challenge graphic in your post.
  • Please link directly to the post for this challenge, not your entire blog (so we can find your project better)
  • Please limit the combined challenges on your project to no more then 4 including ours.
  • And Have Fun!!!

Hope to see you in the gallery!

Here’s what I used:

Card Stock/DSP: Whisper White, Real Red

Ink: StazOn Black

Stamp Set: Watercolour Words

Tools & Embellishments: Big Shot, Flower Fair Framelits, Softly Falling Embossing Folder, Petite Petals Punch, Basic Pearl Jewels, Candy Dot, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Celebrate for STB!

Happy Thursday everyone! It’s time for another fun challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time we’ve gone with a yummy “Topping” – Cupcakes or Candy!

But remember, if “Toppings” are not your thing, it is always “Anything Goes” at Seize the Birthday!

My card:

DSCN1396I finally got my hands on some of the new products in the current Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalogue and had to use them on this card.  I thought the new It’s My Party DSP would be lots of fun with the fun cupcake from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set. And I finished it off with one of my new favourite embellishments, an Expression Natural Element sentiment, which I coloured with Melon Mambo.

As always, our challenge is open for two weeks, until February 23rd at 9am, so there’s lots of time to link up your creations – you can check out our challenge rules here.

My fellow Design Team members have created some fabulous cards, so please check them out and be inspired!
