As I said yesterday, my first class was so much fun, that I held another one in November. This time it was a bit more intimidating as I had a fellow demonstrator attending – didn’t want to mess up!
Fun was had by all and here are the cards we made that afternoon:
Coming up this weekend is my very first Christmas Tags and Bags class. I’m really looking forward to it and will definitely share what we make.
The other exciting news I would like to share is the fact that a local shop , Thyme & Again Creative Catering, has asked to sell some of these very cards in their store!! I am super excited about this and the best part is that some of the proceeds are going to go to my church. I love the generosity and love that seems to come with the Christmas Season!
Thanks for taking a look!
At the end of October, I formally began giving card classes, in my home, beginning with my very first Christmas card class. It was a huge success and I thought I would share with you the cards the ladies made.
It was so much fun that I did it again in November! Come back tomorrow to see all the cards we made. If you have any questions or would like the “recipe” for any of the cards, please let me know.
Thanks for taking a look!
It’s Monday and the start of another week. But here in Canada, we are enjoying a holiday Monday, as it’s Victoria Day. It was wonderful to wake up and realize I didn’t have to do the get-them-ready-and-out-the-door-to-school-and-work dance. Instead I am going to enjoy my coffee while it’s still warm and later take the kids to my sister’s pool for a swim!
Lately, I seem to be obsessed with card making so much, that it has taken over my dreams!! Last night I dreamt about how I was going to come up with a themed card for a birthday party we are attending next weekend (hint: it is related to one of the cakes I am designing this week!). I don’t want to spill the beans just yet, but I think it might work and want the recipent to be surprised when they see it. But don’t worry, I plan to post all the details once I have worked it all out.
I feel like I have been on a roll with card making this month and would love to continue with the many great card challenges, that have been posted in the past few days. But I have been given the opportunity to make three amazing cakes this week and that is going to take priority.
I’ve been asked to make a cake for a Cakewalk fundraiser, a Baptism cake for Penetecost Sunday and an Angry Birds cake for a 7 year old’s birthday party. Not sure which cake I am more excited about making but I do plan to post some pictures when they are all done.
I will leave you with a picture of some yummy mini cupcakes I took to a Welcome Baby party yesterday.
Hope everyone has a great week!
