Christmas Card Class #2

As I said yesterday, my first class was so much fun, that I held another one in November.  This time it was a bit more intimidating as I had a fellow demonstrator attending – didn’t want to mess up!

Fun was had by all and here are the cards we made that afternoon:

Coming up this weekend is my very first Christmas Tags and Bags class.  I’m really looking forward to it and will definitely share what we make.

The other exciting news I would like to share is the fact that a local shop , Thyme & Again Creative Catering, has asked to sell some of these very cards in their store!!  I am super excited about this and the best part is that some of the proceeds are going to go to my church.  I love the generosity and love that seems to come with the Christmas Season!

Thanks for taking a look!

Christmas Card Class #1

At the end of October, I formally began giving card classes, in my home, beginning with my very first Christmas card class. It was a huge success and I thought I would share with you the cards the ladies made.

It was so much fun that I did it again in November!  Come back tomorrow to see all the cards we made.  If you have any questions or would like the “recipe” for any of the cards, please let me know.

Thanks for taking a look!

Sunday Stamps

It’s been a while since I posted anything but life has been super busy since the kids started school again. I’m beginning to think I am at their school as much as they are!

I do have some upcoming posts, with some of the projects and cards I have been creating in the past few weeks but first I wanted to share the card I made for this weeks challenge at Sunday Stamps.  My friend Hayley created the wonderful sketch this week and I promised her I would play along.

The sketch:

I absolutely love the Be of Good Cheer DSP and have been using it quite a bit for my Christmas card classes. I just can’t get enough of it! And for this card, I dug out one of my favourite, retired Christmas stamps, Dasher.  I think this may be one I will never part with.

Thanks for taking a look.

Here’s what I used:

Card Stock / DSP: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Be of Good Cheer DSP, Champagne Glimmer Paper, Silver Glimmer Paper

Ink: Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso

Stamp Sets: Dasher (retired) and Embellished Events

Tools and Accessories: Big Shot, Snow Flurry Bigz Die, glue dots, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Very Vanilla Seam Binding, Basic Rhinestone Jewels
