DSCN1516This was a fun sketch to play with and although I chose to go with a subtle background, it would be a great one for showing off a fabulous piece of patterned paper!

The  inspiration for the colour scheme, comes from the current colour challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

HSS COLOR CHALLENGE-001

Our challenge is open until Friday, April 29th, at 9pm EST, so there’s plenty of time to play along.

Please head on over to the Stampin’ Celebration blog and check out what my fellow DT members have created. I know you are going to love all of their creations!

  • Please link directly to the post for this challenge, not your entire blog (so we can find your project better)

DSCN0938My goodness this was a challenging colour combo for me!  I knew I had to keep it simple, so I stayed in my comfort zone, using some DSP for the background and incorporating flowers as a decorative element. And you know, I am quite happy with the result!

My fellow Design Team members have also created some fabulous samples, so be sure to stop by Colour Me….! and check them out. We can’t wait to see what you create!!! Antonia, Bhavana, Hayley, Jinny, Julia, Kim, Ren, Tara, Valentyna, and Crystal (Guest Designer).

The challenge will end on August 31st, at 12:00pm (EST). And as with any challenge, there are a few rules, to keep things fair – you can check them out here.

This sketch is perfect for showcasing some of the new DSP’s from the 2015-2016 Stampin’ Up! Catalogue. I chose to use some of the patterns from the Pretty Petals DSP stack, and paired it with one of the petite flower images from the Petite Petals stamp set.  The possibilities are endless with this sketch!

Our challenge is open until Friday, August 7th, at 9pm EST, so there’s plenty of time to play along.
